Yes--Ireland gets more attention over here, for sure.
Scotland isn&#039;t independent yet, and there&#039;s disagreement in Scotland over whether it should be.  As things stand, the  Scottish Parliament has very limited powers.</description>

		<description>As a descendent of Scots ancestors, I&#039;m happy to see the language make a comeback.  I&#039;m also glad to see something written about Scotland in general; it tends to get short shrift, overshadowed by the more-glamorous Ireland in terms of Celtic country conquered by Britain.  (I&#039;m guilty of this as well, I suppose.)</description>
