It was a bit from Sesame Street where these big mop-like yarn alien creatures find a phonebook (“Book book book book, people book”) and then a phone and a cat (“miao miao”) and they imitate all the sounds they hear. I guess it is pretty odd if you don’t recognize it. But if you do, it was one of the funnest things Sesame Street ever did with Jim Henson’s puppets. The people behind that stuff were wonderfully mad.
I absolutely used to love those guys! I especially remember the one with the clock that they did! Wow, you sure brought back a memory! I am going to have to find that one for my kids!
